Notifications
Know when an agent finishes, needs you, or is about to hit a limit, without watching a terminal.
Completion and stall alerts#
AgentPeek sends a macOS notification when a run completes and when a subagent finishes, with an optional sound. Stuck-session notifications catch the quieter case: a session that stopped making progress without asking anything. Stuck alerts cover every monitored session.
Prompt alerts#
Permission notifications fire the moment an agent wants approval, and the notch can auto-expand with the prompt laid out, ready to answer with a keystroke. Prompt alerts apply when the agent exposes a prompt or attention hint; see Permissions for which agents do.
Budget alerts#
Budget notifications fire once when your 5-hour, 7-day, monthly, or daily usage crosses the threshold you set, anywhere from 50 to 100 percent. Daily token budgets, spend caps for Hermes and OpenCode, limit-recovery alerts, early-pace warnings, and account-handoff alerts round it out, so a rate limit interrupts your planning instead of your work.
Controls#
Every category has its own toggle in Settings then Notifications: permissions, budgets, stuck sessions, completed runs, subagents. A master toggle covers the lot, sound is optional, quiet hours silence notifications on your schedule, and a test button confirms everything is wired up.
