Compact usage summary

The menu bar item stays small and quiet. Open it and you get a compact popover of token usage and limit windows: live gauges for every agent that reports usage, with one-click refresh. Sessions, local dev servers, and Quick Routes stay in the notch panel, where there is room to act on them.

Works without a notch

The notch and the menu bar are independent toggles in Settings, so you can run either one or both. Working on an external monitor where there is no notch? The menu bar carries the same live numbers. On a Mac Studio, a Mac mini, or an older MacBook, your gauges stay one glance away, no notch required.

Local usage data

The menu bar surface reads the same data as the rest of AgentPeek: local usage records from supported agents, optional aggregate usage from an Aider analytics log you already configured, Cursor's monthly numbers from your Cursor account using the sign-in already on your Mac, and, if you switch Hermes to remote mode, the dashboard URL you configured. The desktop app adds no AgentPeek account, product analytics, or telemetry, and it never enables Aider analytics. During ordinary monitoring, AgentPeek does not upload transcripts, diffs, prompts, or usage numbers.
